Vineyards of Rüdesheim. While the vines themself were hardly noticeable this time of spring, support poles made nice lines across fields.
Rüdesheim is a small town on the shore of Rhein where the river squeezes in between steeper hills. Upper Middle Rhine Valley (Mittelrheintal) has been on the Unesco World Heritage list since 2002. The town itself is quite touristy with lots of wine and less useful souvenir shops. And I got a feeling that the whole area might turn very crowded when Germans have holidays. |

Nice and colourful composition , It reminds me very much Frascati's hills .
Stefano.
It looks like my country, I live in Frascati as mentioned from Stefano, well done, beautiful perspective and colors, compliments.
Ciao
Vinicio
The perspective certainly carries our eye nicely upwards. The best part of the photo is the bare btanches of the trees etched against the wonderful blue sky.

At first I thought this was Italy, and I appear not be the only one. Thanks for reminding us, that other people make wine too.
Brava.
