The Reichstag building in Berlin was constructed to house the Reichstag, the original parliament of the German Empire. It was opened in 1894 and housed the Reichstag until 1933. It again became the seat of the German parliament in 1999 after a reconstruction led by internationally renowned architect Norman Foster(He designed the dome wich you can see above the building,at the top of the photo).
Today's parliament of Germany is called the Bundestag. The Reichstag as a parliament dates back to the Holy Roman Empire and ceased to act as a true parliament in the years of Nazi Germany (1933-1945). In today's usage, the German term Reichstag refers to the building, while the term Bundestag refers to the institution.
In the firs plane is showed the Memorial to the 96 Reichstag members of left and center eliminated by the Nazis. |

Me parece una foto atrevida por lo que hace a la composición y también inteligente.
El modo con el que muestras el lugar, que permite ver, pero desenfocado, el Reichstag, y el modo en el que ensalzas con la imagen el memorial por los 96 miembros del Reichstag asesinados por los nazis me parece muy interesante.

Hello Markos. I have also a photograph (also taken in May 2006) of the same memorial, which I'll post soon. It was taken from a different angle. The POV and the DOF are very special. Gid shot and note.
