Container traffic on the Rhine.
Same place as on my previous upload. Again vineyards of Rüdesheim at the background.
I had a difficult decision on cropping this: tight, tighter or extreme. Decided on the tight version. |

Hi Kari,
Interesting and original photo and a nice crop decision. At least for someone who knows what's this all about, because maybe the subject will be hard to understand for an outsider. Your note explains it though. Anyway, I like your photo, because I like such tight crops and large zooms (this is taken with around 200-300, I presume?), this is a great way to show superposition of details situated at different distances, but on the other hand, it's always on the expense of volume...
I did a WS to add some contrast and saturation to the photo.
Take care
Alexander
Hi Kari.
I like the repeating patterns on the train combined with repeating patterns of the wineyard. I like also that you decided to leave some water as to show that it is not a train :)
Colours can be stronger though, as shown by pasternak.

Hi Kary i like the geometrical view. horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines all with different colours.
excellent POV and focus.
brilliant view.
thanks, ciao
Unusual treatment of this subject. I like the layed effect, and it puts me (again) in mind of Olli.
I like the idea Kari, but at my opinion one vertical format would work better, in this way the background is to much penalized from the presence of the containers, but compliments, nice view and beautiful colors.
Ciao
