Well bala it probably won't surprise you that I like this alot for it's simplicity and grains :o) The stairs look SO impressive because of your crop and placement of the woman, it's lovely!

Je trouve le traitement très osé, et au final, ca donne un résultat étrange, mais intréessant.
J'aime assez ce qu'elle dégage.
C'est bien tenté. J'aurais bien aimé voir en WS la version sans le grain.

Hi Bala,

I really like your simple over-processed surreal shots, but I feel this one falls a little short. I love loneliness in line and the one with the girl by the river - now, they are extraordinary...they are haunting, cold and deadly silent images, whereas this person looks a little bit like santa claus in the snow to me :) I think it has massive potential, but I would like to have seen him closer towards one of the corners...

I also get the feeling you are still getting to grips with the software on your new mac or something? the processing looks a little hurried and the (false?) grain is a little too obvious. I cant help but think about the sophistication of your other two beautifully processed works...

perhaps I am missing something?

Beautiful "snowy" effect you managed here to islate that red sweater against the white background of the museum. Striking and successfully rendered...

nice picture. Very artistic. The red of the pullover of the guy is soo alone in this grey place. The small lines in white ar due to the steps or it is a marking?

Excellent work Balla. Most impressive (at least for me) photo in your portfolio.
Simple and effective, with tremendous impact achieved with this overwhelming grain which move photo into something abstract.
