You will get the same view that a medieval traveler had when he came to Rothenburg ob der Tauber looking at this panoramic view.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is the best preserved medieval town in Germany. From the top of the Rothenburg Town Hall Tower you will get a good view of Rothenburg and its surrounding. You can walk the wall that encircles Rothenburg to get various perspectives of architecture in the middle ages. The whole walled town of Rothenburg is a museum. The wall connects five medieval gates complete with guard towers that date from the thirteenth to sixteenth centuries.
In Rothenburg you will be able to admire the gothic, renaissance, and baroque houses and fountains.
A visit to the Rothenburg Crime Museum, with its extensive display of instruments of torture and execution will surely impress you.
Rothenburg has several outstanding festivals. The people from Rothenburg dress up in elaborate historical costumes and recreate medieval events complete with street music, dancing, plays, ancient recipes and drink. The Meistertrunk, Hans - Sachs Plays, and the Shepherd Dances are annual events.
If you are in Germany you should include in your visit Rothenburg, I assure you will like it as I did.

Very nicely composed and well captured. Great transition from FG to BG: green vegetation, red roof houses/building of the town, and white cloud on clear blue sky.

Bonito pueblito medieval. Buena nitidez y buena luz. Yo habría cortado un poco la foto arriba y abajo para hacer una composición más horizontal más enfocada en las casitas. Me gusta el color del marco. Saludos, Yvonne
