Rothenburg City Gate
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
| These city gates were designed to keep out enemies as well as welcome guests. The hole directly above the gate was designed to pour hot oil onto unwelcome visitors. Lots of history in this walled city just south of Frankfurt. |

Hi Murray,
The lines in your composition show me clearly where to go, but the hot oil possibility is a bit scary..!
Good textures in the walls, and the lighting brings out great colours...
Well framed and nicely composed, good details in this ancient town scenery!
Greetings,

Hi murray,
A good POV of the Rothenburg city gates, the photo is sharp and clear. It has a good DOF, perspective and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Good photo and very interesting place! I'll like to vizit it someday, creators of that hole with a mask had a certain sense of humour or, maybe, according to its purpose, were deadly serious.
Hi Murray
very nice picture, I like the POV with the path shown as inviting us to walk on it! It is somewhat tilted, but thats okay. The people and many colors are very nice.
good job
