Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin Mitte is one of the most central and well known christmas markets in Berlin. It specialices on high quality handicrafts and is so popular that there's even an entrance fee (one Euro well spent). Naturally there's also Glühwein, Pils and Bratwurst available.

Hello Kari
Beautiful night photo of the famous square.
This picture transmit well the spirit of Christmas.
Nice POV and light management.
Regards

Hi Kari,
Because you have those train-panning pictures i expect to see one from you..!!! ;-)
But okay, first the Christmas market. Despite the fact there is no blue hour the image is still giving nice detail and a kind of warm feeling thanks to the red colour on the left.
Have a nice day, Henk

Olá Kari,

Merry Xmas.
Great night shot, its a beautiful christmas market.

Regards,Filipe

Hallo Kari,
It had to come from the Germans charging an entrance fee to a Xmas market, bad guys !
A picture that looks busy, the unusual and interesting items here are those yellow stars that seem to come from a small aperture but I believe they are so by design and lit ? Although from a canonist point of view I wouldn't mind them being red... ;-)
Have a nice day JY

Kari,
This is an excellent night shot! You have managed to use the artificial lighting to create a nice photo. The tree is well balanced by the dome of the building in the center of the shot.
TFS,
Asa

Interesting way to do the christmas market kari - looks more like a put togheter in powerpoint with the light advertisement and the little blue motif to the left. Well seen xmas detail.

Hi Kari,
Oscar has recommended to me your gallery, and I have visited her, though superficially. It has been an agreeable discovery.
This shot is a good night capture of this market with a Christmas very suggestive environment. The exposure work is good, and the qualit result of the light and the colors I like it a lot.
This scene has great life, is dynamic and is very attractive at sight.
It is a good photographic work.
Best regards,
Josep

Hi Kari,
nice night shot, good composition, and great atmosphere... Well done.
Best regards,
Andrzej

Hi Kari,
Nice seasonal view of the traditionnal Christamas market. I like the way you've managed to mix the city buildings, the decorations and lights and the visiting crowd at the bootom of the image. That little blue spot on the left also pleasantly fills in that dark area in the left.
Have a nice day.
Brigitte

Kari,
a great work with a good capture of the cozy and lightfull mood of a german "Weihnachtsmarkt". Crazy! They are now starting to charge for the entrance? O tempora, o moris! Where is Christmas ending? Probably somehwere in a big and fat swiss bank account ...
Anyway, I wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Peter
