Metro station of Zitadelle on the Berlin U-Bahn line U7. With 32 km this line is the longest line on Berlin metro network. The western end of the line to Spandau was opened in 1984 and has modern and clean well designed stations.

Hi Kari,
Very clear & clean photo with hardly any noise. Nice impression of the moving subway train. Pleasant colors despite the artificial lighting.

Regards,
Latiff.

Hi Kari,
This could be considered a very ordinary shot, but I think that you've managed a well-thought composition, using those columns to split the photo into three distinct scenes: the poster on the right, the family in the middle and the train coming in from the left. The light management is very good and overall sharpness excellent for a hand-held 1/4s shot.
Have a nice day.
Brigitte

You have captured a perfect momnet when the train just arrived. Nice coulours and a good perspective.
Best wishes,
Achim

Good use of perspective and the motion blur of the train. I love the little tableaux of people going about their daily lives. Well observed.
Kath

Hi Kari!

I really like this super sharp photo, with a long exposure and without tripod! I'm impressed! The subway station is already architecturally interesting and with this moving train, it's absolutely great. A cool and well executed shot.

Cheers!

André

Hi Kari,
Excellent light management gives great detail and color in this well-framed shot. I particularly like the way you included the speeding train coming in on a diagonal edge; it makes your compo very dynamic.

I'm really enjoying this series on the German Transit system; the link is very interesting. It's interesting that the stattion looks very like the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) stations in Berkeley and San Francisco. I suppose it's not surprising since it sounds like they were built around the same time altho I'm guessing BART was a bit earlier.
HLJ, Pat
