S1 to Oranienburg

| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Class 482 S-Bahn train waiting for departure at Berlin Wannsee. S-Bahn trains run on different tracks as other trains as they use third rail electrification instead of usual overhead wires.
Division of Berlin to East and West parts by the wall affected naturally also on S-Bahn. Brief but very interesting description of S-Bahn history is available at Berlin S-Bahn Wikipedia page. Nowadays S-Bahn Berlin GmbH is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn. |

Hi Kari,
I really like the angles in this photograph. How the train bends around the corner towards the camera is very effective. The lights of the sky and the train also makes this photo very good.

Beautiful post , the sun is majestix and his colour is superb. The red light ,i like it
bravo Réal.
Nice shot Kari! I have the impression that the train is arriving. This being said, I have been in Oranienburg with my boat in 2006. It boasts a castle of the Oranges and a concentration camp.
Regards, John.
Hello Kari,
A pleasant low light capture!
Situation is typical as I remember numerous times waiting for the train in the evening...
Good point of view and fine lines in the composition!
Greetings,

You did a great job capturing a very subtle but potent mood here, especially impressive given the lighting conditions.
