The return of the fisherman Photo

Photographer’s Note

After a long time, one photo from one of my very favourite places in Greece, the lagoon of Mesolonghi. You can see plenty of Gaitas, the traditional flat-bottomed boats of the lake, that in other lakes of Greece are called "Plavas". In the background you can see the The road to Tourlida .Among the boats you can probably "detect" my Lonely gaita, considered by many TE members, as my best photo, and also a fisherman returning home.

Very evocative atmosphere in these calm waters livened by such a fine and warm colours. I like how the pink sky reflects into the water and how the vertical lines of the poles create a graphical effect together with the boats. A special place depicted in a special way. Well done,

I think the strong horizontal lines and the glimpses of complementary colors render a very powerful image. The pink sky is a wonderful canopy reaching across this image and providing such a pleasant hue. Very well done and TFS. Gerald

What a nice idea this return to Mesolonghi! I remember these fantastic photos which you had presented last year.
Here still charming tints and very beautiful rhythm between the horizontal boats and the vertical posts. (I also like very much those of the electric line).

the stillness of water conveys peace, adding the fishermen in the scene is a good idea to give some dynamism. i just hope he catch some fish.
