Night falling in Mesolonghi Photo

Photographer’s Note

One more photo from one of my favorite places in Greece, the lagoon of Mesolonghi. Here you can see some of the basic elements of this place. The fishfarms in the background, then the traditional huts of the lagoon, called "Pelades", and the traditional boats of the lagoon with no carina that are called "gaites" here, while in other lakes of Greece are called "plaves" and you can see some of them in some of my previous posts.

This "Pelada" that you see here, is the same one that you can see, in my last year's photos, Access denied and Access denied, again!. The small wooden pier that last year was in bad, but "inspiring" condition, has now fallen apart, but remains "inspiring".

Έκανες χρήση φίλτρου πάνω στον φακό;
Γιατί η δεξιά σε'μας βάρκα είναι λίγο θολή, ενώ η άλλη όχι?

You make me wanna visit all those places,especially the ones with the lakes.

Es evidente que ahora no vamos a descubrir tus virtudes con una cámara en la mano.
Y menos si hablamos de cómo eres capaz de usar una cámara en una hora azul.

Así, viendo lo que tenemos delante... ¿podrías decirle a mi vecino que no coja nunca una cámara de fotos? Puede que a ti te haga más caso que no a mi.

No, coñas aparte, una muy buena composición y exposición para esta foto.

The blue hues are really lovely and I like the mirror surface of the smooth water with its reflections. Lots of interesting elements in the water and the twinkling lights in the background end it off nicely.

when I take a look at this photo I see the beauty of blue hour in its highest possible form.what a remarkable smooth sea view and seeing this splendid barrack right in the middle of the sea . the part you were lucky is how the small boats were not moving so speedy because of the wind excellent.
