Photographer’s Note
Just a fisherman, that has just tied his boat on a stilt and comes out to the shore at the lagoon of Mesolonghi. By the look of his face, someone could tell that it wasn't a good day on the job. So I would like to dedicate him a song by The Waterboys, called "Fisherman's blues:
"I wish I was a fisherman
Tumblin on the seas
Far away from dry land
And its bitter memories
Casting out my sweet line
With abandonment and love
No ceiling bearin down on me
cept the starry sky above
With light in my head
You in my arms
Woohoo!
I wish I was the brakeman
On a hurtlin fevered train
Crashing a-headlong into the heartland
Like a cannon in the rain
With the beating of the sleepers
And the burnin of the coal
Counting the towns flashing by
In a night thats full of soul
With light in my head
You in my arms
Woohoo!
Well I know I will be loosened
From bonds that hold me fast
That the chains all hung around me
Will fall away at last
And on that fine and fateful day
I will take me in my hands
I will ride on the train
I will be the fisherman
With light in my head
You in my arms"

Nice composition Hercules, its gradually becoming surrealistic. Thanks for sharing...Alex

An uncharacteristic shot from you, Hercules, but of course a successful one. I can feel the tiredness of this fisherman. Reflection adds a lot and I like the tightness of the view.

Great capture, Hercules,
you can feel the man's fatigue and weariness. Excellent composition and DOF. The reflection is just awesome, though. Well seen and shot. Great job! Many thanks and kindest regards,

For some reason it seems to me that the fisherman is ready to pop up from this photo. Very realistic and clear. When I read the title, my first though was the song, and then there they are the lyrics!
Good job again.

I like the way with which you isolate this fisherman by his colors which cut with the bluish bottom and also its neatness in front of the vague environment. Magnificent reflection and a choice of excellent vertical size.

Hi dear Hercules,
A different shot from you but very good. Wonderful shot with beautiful colors and composition. DOF and reflections are so good. Feeling of fisherman's exhaustion is very powerful. Also, your note and poem are so good.
Congrats,
Best wishes.
