Στο λόφο του Νεκρομαντείου στον Αχέροντα ποταμό τον 18 αιώνα κτίστηκε το εκκλησάκι του Αγιου Ιωάννη του Προδρόμου. Οι ανασκαφές στον Αρχαιολογικό χώρο έγιναν μετά με αποτέλεσμα να χρειαστεί να υποθεμελιωθεί το εκκλησάκι καθώς ηταν κτισμένο πάνω στην κυρια αίθουσα του Νεκρομαντείου
Εδω βλεπεται το εσωτερικό του και στο WS μια εξωτερική εικονα του
Μια αλλη θεώρηση του θανάτου αυτη του χριστιανισμού έρχεται να προστεθεί στις εκονες αυτου του τοπου

In the hill of Nekromanteio in the Aheronta river the 18 century was built the chapel of Saint Ioannis of Precursor. The excavations in the Archaeological space became afterwards so that it needs under faudation for the chapel because they was built above in the lady room of Nekromanteio
Here is seen his interior and in WS a exterior picture

Hi Nick,
Beautiful interior room of the chapel of Saint Ioannis. Despite the difficult light, you have managed very well to bring the delicacy of the frescos of the walls,... Impressive to see how these old architectural spaces can survive the pass of the time and still maintain the splendour they had in the past... Great work!

Hi Nick,
It's impressive how it still looks so sacred after so many centuries. I guess that's part of the charm of these beautiful ancient sites. Amazing light management, which allow us to appreciate the beauty and colours of the frescoes.
I also like the WS very much. It's very clear, well sharpened and features vibrant colours and textures. It's a very good POV, but maybe you could have off centred the church a bit.
