Ofrynio Beach is situated in the Orfanou gulf, close and well connected to all the major urban centers in the area. With Thessalonica being a 40 minute drive away, and Serres, Drama and Kavala cities all within 60 km of the coast, it is quite accessible.

The beach itself is 15 km long and offers a wide range of choices throughout the year, whether you value your privacy, or prefer to take part in its exiting nightlife and local festivities.
The fact that the whole area is offering services and entertainment both in summer and winter combined with great prices makes it ideal for permanent residence.

Locations one can visit are numerous and represent the beauty of Mediterranean together with a testament to rich cultural heritage and historical background of the area, which dates to 500 B.C. As the seasons change so do the surroundings, making each destination different and special depending on time of year. The archeological sites of Amfipolis and Fillipos theater are only 15 minutes away from the Ofrynio beach, while the ski resorts of Lalias, Falakro and Paggeo (40 minute ride) are popular during the winter months. This is also the best time of year for fishing in the gulf, for the whole area is renowned for the representation and quality of traditional cuisine and delicious sea food specialties.
Just 40 km to the north you will find a small mountain village in the woods, famous for its hospitality, excellent food and a fabulous panorama of the whole area. Small wooden cottages, restaurants and walks or horse rides in the unspoiled countryside are sure to capture your heart.
