Photographer’s Note

Light and shadows in Stoa Atallou in Monastiraki.
Stoa Atallou is situated in the east side of Ancient Agora. It was built at about 150 BC with a foundation of king of Pergamos Attalos. It know hosts the museum of Ancient Agora.

Good use of lighting and perspective for a very graphical composition. The inclusion of the figure is very effective both as a focal point and sense of scale. Great work.

Nicely organized framing. Composition with perspective leading us deeper into the scenery looks good, even if you've already seen many similar photos.

I don't remember the Stoa, I think I've missed it. What a pity to miss such a photographically inviting place :(
Light and shadow, b&w, model passing by the repeating column structure... A very classic compo but still attractive.

Τέλεια χρήση της προοπτικής και του Α/Μ που "πάει" με το θέμα.
Πολύ καλές οι αναλογίες με την ύπαρξη ανθρώπου στην σύνθεση. Η έντονη αντίθεση φωτός και σκιάς δυσκολεύει πάντα την καταγραφή της εικόνας. Ο σχηματισμός γραμμών από τους κίονες και τις σκιές τους αποσπούν την προσοχή και παραβλέπεται η υπερέκθεση που μπαίνει σε δεύτερη μοίρα.

Τ παιχνίδι με τις σκιές που έδωσαν οι αρχαίες κολώνες στο έδαφος αλλά και το πολύ προσεγμένο καντράρισμα, έδωσαν με άψογο τρόπο την απαιτούμενη έμφαση στην παρουσία των επιβλητικών όγκων των κιόνων του ναού.
Πολύ καλή επιλογή της ανθρώπινης παρουσίας, έδωσε με πολύ έξυπνο τρόπο, μέτρο σύγκρισης των διαφόρων μεγεθών.

Wonderful shot!I like the way you built the image and its symmetry. But the most particular thing is that this game of shadows and this particular architecture give the impression of seeing a series of stairs in every direction.
Just today I posted a photo named "Escher" and this one too make me remind one of the worlds painted by Escher.
