paradisos villagernParadise (until 1926 Inzes is a village in the municipality of Nestos in the regional unit of Kavala, in the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.rn According to the 2011 census, it has 216 inhabitants. It is located at an altitude of 60 meters, near the river Nestos. It is located 36.5 kilometers northeast of Kavala. Trout are reared in the lakes around the village. rnUnder the Kapodistrias program, it was incorporated into the municipality of Chrysoupoli, and formerly belonged to the Paradisos community. rnrnThe ancient city of Topiros was between Paradise and the Archers of Xanthi. Paradise at the beginning of the 20th century had a Muslim population (511 according to the statistics of the Greek army and 589 according to the census of 1913). Following the exchange of population, 114 refugee families settled in Paradise, with the village becoming refugee. rn
