Monastic house at Provata, a photo from Agion Oros, Macedonia

Photographer's Note

In Provata, in the vicinity of Megisti Lavra and in an altimeter of 150 to 400m., five or six monastic houses are scattered. Some identify this place with Skete Glossia that flourished in 14th century, where St. Gregory Palamas had lived.
Photo shot on slide film, scanned on a flatbed scanner and processed in Photoshop.

θεολόγε καλησπέρα,
ωραία η καταγραφή και η παρουσίαση της σκήτης αυτής από τον Προβατά.Απ' ότι βλεπω είναι περιτρυγυρισμένη από αμπελώνες στο μπροστινό μέρος του κάδρου σου και πνιγμένη στο πράσινο από όλλες τις άλλες πλευρές.
