Geia sou Thoma mou,
I usually feel uneasy at writing to homeless and beggars photos, not for the bitter reality hurts, but i find it a common theme, very open to abuse. But here the situation is different, i don't feel pity for the man, maybe becaue of your note or maybe because of the quality of the photo. In a way, the content looks more mystical than pathetic.
Ta leme,
Deniz

Hi Thomas,
Open your eyes, dear world..
Smell your life, dear world..
Fill your smiles, white, Oh world..
Do you see me, dear world ?
Visions express, and it's the reality.
But how does that happen?
It's when the sensible man opens his creative windows ..
A concept told many times, in many way ways... but each time, the sense of witnessing has the dominant touch, the real class in vision.
An eye opened, a heart smiling, a soul hearing, and there, you are, dear friend...
With admirations,
jp

Hi Thomas,
It may be a dramatic photo with title, or it may be an atmospheric lonely post from streets, it may be a poetric shot presented with a sensitive note... It may be both, may be neither as well...
But it is absolutely worth viewing.
His loneliness, his head bent, road seems to be endless... His little things a bottle of water and a sachet maybe, his flower.. Atmosphere is nicely shown in dark yellowish colors.
Congrats,
Burcu

Hi Thomas,
A sad and hard scene in this composition, very well caught, in that the light, the shades and the yellow tones play a good graphical role, and they wrap the image of this poor homeless that sells plants to survive.
The poem is very interesting also.
The life can be very unjust sometimes. Good real-life photo.

Unfortunately, our world is full of this sad living conditions and it seams that no government cares about it. Here in Australia it just surfaced that the PM spent A$75,000 in two trips, one to watch cricket in Melbourne and the other to watch the New Year’s fireworks from his official residence in Sydney. And I ask, how far could go that money helping people who live on the streets?
For the photo, you had a perfect light for the shot. Well done.

hi thomas
You used the light to capture this moment very nicely and letting this man stand out while keeping a part of him in shadow. Well done

Hi Thomas. Struck by the beautiful composition -- colour, theme and the note. Remembered..."Our sweetest songs are those that telleth of our saddest thoughts." Beautifully highlighted the pangs and the agonies. Great work. Regards.

Hello Thomas,
your photograph expresses a little the same feeling, towards poverty and misery, that mine, and this impotence which we have to fight misery on our planet.
However this one is rather rich and generous so that each one can decently live and happy, but some ones confiscated us this richness and generosity for their own profits.
To return from there to the photograph, framing is particularly succeeds and the use of the light is superb.
Cordially, Dino.

Beau travail.

Hi Thomas. An enormous amout of emotion flows from this composition. It is sad to see so many live like this in many countries including supposedly wealthy ones. Many seem to fall through the cracks of our societies for a variety of reasons. TFS. Murray.

Amazing that crystal clear photo from you. The sharpness cat my eyes. I see that guy and winder or summer it wears that ponzo and they have 5 cm nails.

Hello Thomas,
unfortunately a view which is becoming quite common in all the big cities thru the world.
But strangely or not some of them doesn't want to leave the streets once they start to get used to them, just like it was their 'shout of freedom' against the rulers of this world which seems to become more and more 'tiranic' where those who have money rule all the others as puppets and make them follow all their wishes.
Cheers.
