[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This scene has been repeated for centuries - a man escaping from the heat after working in the countryside. His stick is by his side, his bag hung up on a branch and his donkey tethered nearby. On islands such as Skopelos these sights are becoming less common, but they are still to be seen when walking in areas away from the main resorts.

Hi Maggie,
A very peaceful shot. I can sense the dry heat, the crickets making noise, and the gentle sound of the rustling leaves in the wind. Your composition is excellent, and the full range of light well captured with good detail. Very nice! Have a good weekend, Casper

You are right, this is a scene that is becomming few and far between these days. You have taken it very well and captured a lovely moment. There's nothing quite like a nap outside. I think this would look good, if not better, in black and white. Thanks for sharing. Regards, TW

Hi Maggie:

This scene is so seldom to see now a days. Good thing you captured it! It's so real and peaceful. Thanks for sharing.

hi Maggie

Nice to see your Greece trip photo of this main below a tree. Hopefully you did not wake him up. At least the ground is dry and clean. In Malaysia, the ground is wet and full of insects or snakes, so workers normally built a simple hut on stilt for resting purpose.

Hello Maggie. A sleeping in the shade of a tree. In addition a stick and a high-hung bundle with personal things. Actually, the picture is timeless; it is a ark-typical picture. You observed and realized this scene well. Worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Geia sou Maggie!

Beautiful moment, excellent and relaxed daily life scene, a scene, that those who have lived in the Greek countryside, are very common with! Excellent framing and composition, great light managment, beautiful "soft" colours, fitting the subject! Congratulations!

Hi Maggie
It is true that for us we see more often this scene on the paintings of museums!
A beautiful subject, very well treated with this beautiful harmony of colors. The play shadows / light is very nice. It gives me envy to make the siesta!
Have a nice WE

It gives us lot of happiness to see this man relaxing after hard work at his farm. All the elements in this frame are very much interesting and meaningful. This image compels us to sit and think about these common man who are the real men of our world.

Hello Maggie,

This looks like a scene from a 19th century drama! It triggers memories that must come from books ... I'm sure I have never really experienced this scene before!
His low positioning makes very interesting composition and the two trees balance the whole beautifully!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Maggie. You have a very good pair of eyes for perspective. Stunning image captured with the man under the big tree. I would have done the same in this pristine view. Well done and have a great weekend. Best regards. Jusni

Hello Maggie...
this poor wanderer chose very peaceful place for resting. Well observed scene.

Hello Maggie,
it is interesting in this real summer picture that the sleeping man appears almost as part of the nature.
