Προστασια από τον Ηλιο έξω από την μητρόπολη του Μιστρά τον Αγιο Δημήτριο

Η μητρόπολη, αφιερωμένη στον Άγιο Δημήτριο, χτίστηκε μάλλον το 1311, σε σχέδιο βασιλικής και διαθέτει ενδιαφέρουσες τοιχογραφίες στο νάρθηκα και τον κυρίως ναό, με σκηνές από το μαρτύριο και τον ενταφιασμό του Αγίου Δημητρίου, κ.ά. Στη μητρόπολη στεγάζεται και το Βυζαντινό Μουσείο του Μιστρά, στο οποίο αξίζουν εκτός από τα γλυπτά που βρέθηκαν στο χώρο, το τμήμα υπέρθυρου με το μονόγραμμα και το οικόσημο της Ισαβέλας Λουζινιάν, τις επιγραφές, τις βυζαντινές εικόνες, τα τμήματα των τοιχογραφιών και τα αντικείμενα μικροτεχνίας.


Protection from the Sun outside from the metropolis of [Mistra] Saint Dimitrios The metropolis, dedicated in Saint Dimitrios, [chtistike] rather in 1311, in drawing royal and allocates interesting murals in the splint and the mainly temple, with scenes from the martyrdom and the inhumation of Saint Dimitrios, etc. In the metropolis is accomodated also the Byzantine Museum of [Mistra], in which they deserve apart from the sculptures that were found in the space, the department of transom with the monogram and the blazon of [Isabelas] [Loyzinian], the signs, the Byzantine pictures, the departments of murals and the objects of miniature art.

lovely compo with the arches on both sides and the lady in the middle... using the flash might be a good idea here to show us her face... still a good one though niko... cheers...
