Photographer’s Note
We can see the 5th Century A.D. walls at the end of this alley. These small houses were built in 1922 to house some of the million or so Christians who were expelled from Turkey after the Treaty of Lausanne. Ethnic cleansing in an earlier and treaty ratified form. Nowadays they are home to newer immigrants. I heard unknown languages in passing - certainly not Greek.

Hello Phil,
Nicely captured, showing a piece of history. Someone can say it is not nice looking, but if you look closely , especially the right side how everything is so clean, colorful with flowers everywhere, you can not to love it.
