Photographer's Note

One more close-up view of the parliament building.
I noticed that in my previous posts about the parliament I neglected to note the name of its architect, so here is a shortened biography of him from the Wikipedia:
Imre Steindl (1839–1902) was a Hungarian architect. He graduated at the Technical University of Budapest and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. He was a teacher at the Budapest Technical University from 1869. He was elected honorary and corresponding member of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1891 and was admitted to the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1898.
He is most famous for the Hungarian Parliament Building. Steindl went blind before the completion of the Hungarian Parliament and died in 1902 in Budapest. He is buried at Kerepesi Cemetery.
