Photographer's Note

I have already posted photos about the traditions of my University (University of Miskolc). These traditions have German origins. Sachtag (or Szakest in Hungarian) refers to candlelit event, which was originally organized in pubs or wine-cells for teachers and students to discuss professional issues within a less former framework. Nowadays, it is more about fun, but to some formalities still exist.
It was taken with my Lumix FZ-30, my first camera, which remained in service as my party-camera after I bought the Nikon. Recording such events were quite tricky as the FZ-30 only went to iso 400 with a 2,8 lens and there is no extra light sources on these events. I usually used a reflecting screen on my external flash, sync on the second curtain and of course relied on the VR. Exif: f2,8, 1/5s, iso 400.
