I took this shot yesterday night in Budapest. Anything done here, except for adding the black frame. Beautiful light, wonderful place, unfortunately I'm back home...

hehe, brings back memories... (got married there :-)..) good colours, that brief 1/2 hour before darkness sets in.... hard to fit in the frame, perhaps another shot and photo stitching?.. black frame's ugly though...

Very nice night view, well lit, of a beautifull church. The black frame was not necessary.

Hello Sabrina. I like your shot of the church but agree with thre previous comments about the frame. I have recently spent a bit of time thinking about framing because it seems like the frame can make or break an image. I think a problem of your black frame is that (a) it's too big and (b) because it's black against a very dark blue sky, it is hard to tell where the picture ends and the frame starts. Please check out my workshop for my suggestion of how you might have done it better.

Hello Sabrina,
Oh, I must have seen this church somewhere but I just can't remeber the exact time and place! :D
But now let's be serious! :) The most I like the composition: you show just enough of the church. The lights are also fantastic and I like the dark blue sky above.
But yes, the frame. I always use black frames with night pictures, but I separate the photo and the frame with a tighter white frame. I think that's enough, so I agree with Phillip's ws.

Fantastic blue-cast and the excellent light over the church with the appropriate framing makes this image an outstanding one and all the glory goes to you for clicking it but I'm just sorry for having run out of all the smileys today :)
