Making a living out of the beauty of others.
A portraitist in the Fisherman's Bastion, a constant reminder you have to live in the present, not the past?

Buna Ioana,
when I saw him sitting there and drawing, I thought: what went wrong in my life? Well, I think, first of all that I don´t have the talent ;)
Very nice photo, maybe the focus is a bit too far in the back, but that´s always the problem with these bridge-cameras, you don´t really see what they are focusing on...
Te pup, Johannes

Hi Ioana,
you mastered the difficult afternoon light with the big contrasts very well..nice to remember this scene. A tighter crop would be good, to avoid the hand at the left and the fridge on top.
I also was impressed by the personality of this guy..
compliments, you did a good job !
Hugs, chris

Hi Ioana
this is an interesting portrait of the portraitist. He look concentrate on his work. The black and white is well done to give an old aspect and a nice atmosphere. The place was very contrasted but you have well managed it.
Have a nice day

Hi Ioana,
You also captured the mood of Budapest! The man sitting here calmly, concentrating on his work and ignoring the tourists.
I remember some nice colours there but converting it to B&W doesn't seem a bad idea. Good composition and nice framing!
TFS!
Cheers,
Marci

Buna Ioana,
Ahah I think I know this guy... Not easy this phto because the background bags deliver severe contrasting highlights, however you have preserved good details on the man who's in a rather shady area.
You look great in front of the parliament ;-)
Te pup JY

Ha haha
I had the WS ready and with this image you have invited me to post it :)
I liked his badge and the red t-shirt for this reason I tried the color version :)

Hi Ioana,
a nice pose of the artist that you render well in a bw, just the focus is perfectible as Johannes says.

Buna Ioana,

Nice life - I agree the focus rather highlights the finished drawings. In bigger size it has a special meaning. The drawing is watching the portraits.
I like the great workhops:))

Have a nice week!
