Photographer’s Note

Chacun devait suivre son chemin.
C'est ainsi que l'on avait organisé l'espace.
Il y avait une ligne pour les vélos jaunes, et des grands traits pour les souliers blancs.
On ne mélangeait pas les chaines et les lacets, les huiles et les sueurs, les promeneurs et les fuyards.
On avait voulu peindre la chaussée,
pour lui donner du sens.

Each one had to follow the way.
The space had been organized like that.
There was a line for the yellow bicycles,
and arge features for the white shoes.
One did not mix the chains and the laces, oils and sweats, the walkers and the runaways.
One had wanted to paint the roadway,
to give the direction.

bonne idée de cadrage, le point de vue est bien trouvé pour mettre en valeur cette ensemble graphique. Néanmoins je trouve le tout un peu pâle, du coup j'ai fait un atelier et essayer d'accentuer le côté graphique en faisant une désaturation partielle.
J'espère que cela te plaira.

Strong patterns and lines, but most important, great timing from your side with the passing cyclist. Exactly on the same spot where the mark on the road is placed. A well thought composed image in a very artistic way...i like this.

I persoanlly feel that Black and White would suit the mood here more than the colours.

The diagonal perspective makes the shot more intersting.

Hello Bertrand,
Don't tell me that they mooved the Eiffel Tower to Hungary now?:) I'm used to have these graphical photos coming out from the high of Eiffel Tower and now you surprised me with an Hungrian view of it.
From the ET or not you show here a great sense for building up images with graphical impact with the lines of the stripes and road splitting well the photo diagonaly and a great timing to have the cyclist right next to the bycicle sign on the road.

C'est une très belle photo comme tu en as le secret. J'en aime la composition et le graphisme. Seul être vivant, le cycliste bouscule la géométrie mais c'est normal, c'est son rôle d'être vivant, non ?

Retour à des jeux sur les lignes que tu nous avais déjà montré il y a quelques temps ! Composition très bien vue avec ces diagonales qui se croisent et cette cycliste bien placée. J'aime bien le clin d'oeil de ce vélo peint sur la route juste devant un vrai vélo.
