Greetings to all TE friends.
I have been at Budapest.
The Photo shows the Buda Castle, the Mattia Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion.

The Buda castle is one of the most famous and most visited sights of Budapest , It is a Unesco World Heritage location, offering many interesting attractions, museums, evocative streets, squares, restaurants and shops.

The Royal Palace is one of the symbols of the country. It has seen many battles and wars since the 13th century. In its buildings there are three museums and it also gives home to the Széchenyi Library. The nearby, beautifully renovated Sándor Palace is the residence and workplace of the Head of the State. The 700-year-old Matthias Church is the jewel of the Hungarian capital. The Fisherman’s Bastion is not only a special and characteristic building but also an excellent point from where the view of the city is spectacular; visitors from all over the world are attracted to it.

After an unexpected, devastating attack by the Mongols the first citizens of Buda moved to the hills in the middle of the 13 th century. Later the royal court was relocated to the Southern end of the mountain – that is when the quarter began to boom. Buda became one of the most significant cities of Europe by the 14th century, the population was around 8000. It slowly declined during the Turkish rule, which started in 1541, and little remained of it after the liberating siege (1686) with 75 days of cannon fire. The Austrian authorities could count but 300 inhabitants in the city. It was later rebuilt, and the street lines were not changed, but most two-storey buildings had only one storey from then on. They built a Baroque town, hiding the ruins behind thick walls. It was under siege again in 1849, and then rebuilt again to host Hungarian ministries. After a long and peaceful period, it was reduced to ruins again in January 1945. Several Medieval remnants were uncovered during cleaning up the ruins, and these remnants were not walled up again. Based on the traces, the walls must have been coloured everywhere

bellissimo notturno su questo fantastico complesso.
Il risultato monocromatico ne esalta la bellezza .
Noto una leggera pendenza a sinistra ma il risultato e' eccellente .

Una molto bella fotografia notturna con una bella luce dorada che illumina tota l'imagine. Un'immagine ricca in detagli con una buona composizione ben equilibrata grazie ad una buona inquadrattura.

Imposing buildings. Great BG glittering lights among darkness. Complete focus on the castle. Interesting note. Compared to Hungarian ruling by the Turks, well, Bulgaria was in this lamentable situation from 1396-1878! Nothing, or at least few Medieval sights had survived it.

C'è chi può!!!
Bellissima panoramica notturna di Buda impreziosita dal brulicare di luci sullo sfondo che rendono unica questa vista.
Forse avresti potuto desaturare un po' il giallo ma non sono sicuro che l'atmosfera sarebbe restata cosi calda e suadente.
Resta in ogni caso una immagine emozionante!!!

C'è qualche sovraesposizione locale, segnatamente sulla cupola, ma ti dico in assoluta sincerità che non toglie molto all'atmosfera eccezionale di questa foto.
Aspettiamo gli altri scatti..

Luci calde e ben gestite che mettono in ottima evidenza il castello, grazie anche allo sfondo nero, contornato dalle coloratissime piccole luci della sera.

Beautiful nightscape! captured expertly the Buda Castle glowing in amber light with a decorous composition. It might improve greatly when correcting the inclination to left a bit. Still definitely a successful shot.

Hey Ludo,

A beautiful night shot, taken from teh absolutely best position imaginable - or so I imagine. :) The colors are of course a bit monochromatic, but that`s one of the features of night shots - nicely exposed though. Anyway, you`ve captured a lof of amazing architecture in and the photo is very sharp. Nice work.

A nice night view of this castle. This picture allows us to appreciate the whole setting of the castle in the middle of the town. I hope to visit it very soon.
I just think the picture could benefit from a slight resharpening after sampling down to 800 for TE

credo che Buda sa la parte più suggestiva di Budapest, e questa bellissimma immagine notturna lo dimostra. Ottima gestione della luce, che ci consente di ammirare le luci di Pest come in un cielo pieno di stelle. Veramente suggestiva, complimenti!

Bella sia come ripresa notturna che come veduta aerea da lontano. mi piace come hai lasciato spazio dietro il castello alla costellazione di luci della città. Una composizione molto ben fatta e gradevole.
