Hljóðaklettar is situated next to the river of the Jökulsá near the Ásbyrgi Canyon.
The Hljóðaklettar or echoing cliffs, are world known for their basaltic columns which are about 8000 years of age.
The river Jökulsá is, with a length of 206 km, the second largest in Iceland.

This is a HDR made out of 3 individual photos.

Well done. The FG looks a little out of focus but it does not bother me that much and the one flower grouping is a nice touch of colour.

Hello Jochen,
Excellent look at the basaltic formation. Great detail in the type of lava, (rope) that was extruded here. I would like to have seen the flowers in focus, so in that case you may want to change your focus area to the flowers and place your F-stop at F16 or F22.
Other than that one item this is a great shot of clouds and rock...

It's good to try but the final result is not too much my cup of tea:-)
I would have preferred the foreground in focus especially with the touch of flowers and I do find that somehow one sees that the sky has been added. To me it looks a bit like those old movies where they placed a fixed screen behind the scenes:-)
