Hello John,

I have often seen the name of Myvatn in travel guide but it is the first time I se a photo.
I like the low point of view putting a big part of sky which is incredible with the pattern of clouds and the lightning.

Hi John,,,wow...the sune...so sometime the Myvatn Lake have sunny moments...i spent there some days in the summer 1989....just rain, rain, rain...and in the better hours some fog!
excellent view, with amazing colours, reflections well captured and high quality too.

Photography is all about light and you rendered light here in a very magical way. One can clearly see where the light is in your frame and that's crucial for me in landscape photography. I like your composition very much. There are a lot of dynamic lines in the photo that guides you through the scene. Very very good.

Superb landscape with strong contrast and hard colours and for a moment i thought it was the good old Velvia. That tiny bit of light in the sky brings out a kind of warm feeling abd his reflection in the foreground is a nice but important detail....i like it.

The lines here all converge towards the volcano at least I assume that's what it is. A different sunset that is refreshing. I like the light on the grasses in the FG and the sky has lots of interest.

John, you make me so nostalgic...

One more masterpiece...the light is wondrous everywhere in the picture, I like your composition with many lines and pieces of interest to see culminating in the wide wide dynamic sky. To me a kind of mystical atmosphere comes out, a peacefulness full of life. Bravo.

A very impressive gallery you have, but I was drawn to this one as I'm a sucker for a calm landscape. Lovely lines and beautiful sky, but I can't help feeling that some warmer tones would improve it even more. Perhaps you have some from slightly later when the sunlight was more red/pink? Very beautiful as it is, anyway.

This is a truly stunning shot! I really like the great dof you managed to get along the great feeling of vastity and silence of this place.
