Photographer's Note

Well, as I suspected my previous photo wasn't exactly an overwhelming success in terms of likes - but that was completely expected given the subject material.

So lets change it up a little bit. This time I'll show a more natural landscape scene that's probably more pleasing to the eye for most people.

Here i'm about an hours drive east of the town of Vik, in Southern Iceland. You can check out the map view to see exactly where I took this photo.

In the WS is a photo I took while standing directly on the #1 hwy - it shows the nicely perfectly paved road that you'll have if you stay on the main streets. There's also another view of the waterfall, but its in a horizontal format, I enjoy both, I don't think one is significantly better than the other - I just prefer vertical scenes.

If you've never been to Iceland, let me tell you that you can probably capture a scene like this pretty much everyday! These waterfalls that drape over large landscapes are in every area of the country, and some of them have towns located at the base, as this Hamrafoss does.

Hope you like it, and please check out the WS photos if you have time.
