Photographer's Note

Here is the Beta Version, larger and more beautiful Colored Glass.

Again, i'm hoping to show something a little bit different from Iceland compared to the usual photos.

This time i'm in Reykjavik, the capital, and you may recognise the building already as the famous Opera House. I explored the interior and really wanted to come away with a photo that I hadn't see before.

Then this scene presented itself. Most tourists take photos at the front end of the Opera House, and rightfully so - I did as well. But I went around to the back where very few people hang out. Its beautiful back here. It has a view of the Marina, and there are pieces of colored glass as you can see in the photo.

Normally I wouldn't have composed the people so far off to the edge on the right, but I had no choice. Just beside them is a large thick vertical pillar which completely ruined the look of the scene. Therefore I had to squeeze them in like that. Also, I really wanted to move that table haha...but I didn't want to get kicked out or have security bug me. Still, i think its a pretty scene and if you're ever in Reykjavik in the Opera House, make sure you walk to the back!

What's funny is just a few minutes earlier there was a mother taking photos of her teenage daughter. SHe was posing, resting/sitting inside one of those large squares. I tried really hard to get a photo, but it didn't work out. That would have been a good post as well. Anyways, thanks for looking.
