Photographer's Note

This is the follow up photo of the abandoned home just outside of Bakkafjordour.

When I went searching inside, I found this blue bedroom upstairs. It was incredible. The mood, the atmosphere in here, it really struck a chord with me.

I'm not sure if the photo can translate the mood compared to when you're actually in the house, feeling scared, but I found this room to be creepy. I would image it to be even more creepy at night.

Now here's the really interesting part. See that black plaque on the wall...I believe its the owners of the home. It has 2 names, their birth dates and dates they died. I believe it was a husband and wife. Here is what it read.

Gunnjorunn Jonasdottir 26/02/1895 - 06/03/1965

The red chairs in the WS photo are creepy too, why are they set up like that? This was an incredible home to walk through.
