Brouillard islandais Photo

Photographer’s Note

C'est en marchant entre Húsavik et Breiðavík, dans l'est de l'Islande, que j'ai découvert ce superbe spectacle. La photographie a été prise depuis le sommet de Hvítuhnjúkar (572 m).
Ces montagnes de rhyolite, roche magmatique volcanique, contrastent non seulement avec le brouillard et le ciel bleu mais aussi avec les prairies vertes des environs.

Hey Christophe,

Really really nice shot, and yeah pity for the jet trace. You can actually try using the clone tool in photo shop to rub that out and this would be truly wonderous.

Keep sending stuff like that in :).

Hallo Christophe!
This picture by the fog has a wonderful mysterious atmosphere. Your point of view is outstanding and gives a breathtaking overlook over the sea of fog with it's mountain islands. The blue sky and the brown mountains are a great contrast. I like this very much!

Very nice fog.
However, I didn't like the red cast of this photo. I have tried to make colors more natural in the workshop version.

L'Island est très belle quand le brouillard daigne se lever ! Très jolie prise !
La compo est superbe. J'aime beaucoup les sommets en pente douce qui emmergent de la brume ! On a presque l'impression qu'il faisait chaud :-)

Douceur et mystère pour qualifier cette image. les nuages sont toujours un plus en montagne. Ici, ils se partagent la vedette avec ces cimes volcaniques.

Wonderful subject and great composition Christophe! The lines of the mountain leading towards the distant peaks, and the fog drenched surroundings ... all create a nice mysterious photograph!

What a view of those mountian tops. A top here and there. And the cover of clouds with the light that falls so nicely makes this a beautiful image.

La lumière est superbe ! j'aurai cependant bien vu un personnage quelque part dans l'image, pour donner un peu de vie, et pour donner une indication sur la taille des lieux

Very nice shot of the mountains covered by fog. Gives the impression of being quite cold.. The composition is very good but the colours look a bit redish for a rhyolite.

Jolie photo, originale. C'est un point de vue intéressant. Un peu saturé dans les bleus mais c'est bien. Le paysage rhyolitique aide les couleurs. Bien vu.

un petit retour arrière sur ta gallerie. Ce paysage est magnifique. cette lumière douce , éparse, qui se partage entre une petite zonre de nuage et cette crète au centre, c'est vraiement superbe. de très belles couleurs également.
