Photographer’s Note
When we came upon the black sand beach near Vik, it looked like it hadn't been walked on for eons. Of course until we got there. I was mesmerized by the basaltic minerals sparkling in this magnificent place.

Awesome non-typical coastal shot. Love the colors. The white line where the waves break looks like electricity. Excellent.

Hi Michael,
What a magnificant view of the black beach of Vik and the mysterious rock of Dyrhólaey in the background. Great atmosphere! When I see this kind of pictures, I want to fly back to Iceland at once.
