Photographer's Note

About the moment:
I was looking for a place to get something for eating in Conakilty a nice and quiet though colorful city of Cork, when I saw this bicycle that looked strange. It did immediatly caught my attention as it made me think of the velib of Paris. though this one has nothing to do with the velib (it was used as a sign for the pub or shop just behind me at that time).

About the context:
In France it's now very trendy to use a bycicle in the city to go to work or have a rolling stroll. big cities 's transportation services now propose bicycle for temporary rental. While on one hand it's ecologic and cheap. On the other hand it's heavy (22 kg!) and constraining (no park available in the area desired, not suitable forheavy raining day).
Paris has its "velib", Marseille has "levelo", Nantes go for "bicloo" (the two latter words meaning phonetically bicycle)...

About the pic:
I accentuated the saturation and I used a sharpening mask with a photoshop to give that impression of black "contour". It was done on purpose.

To Luko,
Can you count the squares, triangles and circles in that picture? ;o) kidding!
