| A view of the stunning scenery from the top of a hill in Kerry. It's one of the most popular routes in Ireland. Located in the lush and beautiful southwest, it passes through Kenmare, Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen and Killorglin. It's a popular day trip, but narrow roads sometimes make it difficult for motor coaches to pass each other; now all tour buses run in a counter-clockwise direction to avoid delays if two should happen to meet. Weather's also a factor: one of the bridges was out, so we had to take a bit of a detour. The weather was changing literally minute by minute, which made for a very dramatic sky but difficult photographing! It was alternating bright sun and heavy rain, but this one worked out! |
