Photographer’s Note

Vue sur la plage de Magheroarty près de Falcarragh, sur la côte nord du Donegal. Sable blanc et mer d'émeraude, toute la splendeur du Donegal sous le soleil ! La jetée qu'on voit sur la photo est le point de départ des ferries qui desservent l'île de Tory. Au fond on aperçoit la silhouette de la péninsule de Horn Head.

Hi Olivier,

Ireland is famous for his cliffs, so seeing something different from that island is not how i see it (never been there), but it's nice to know and to see that there is more to explore than just those cliffs.
Nice pov you found here. Not the best light, but we can't have it all.

Hello Olivier,
You have crafted a good composition with excellent contrast of the blue, green and white colours. I like the headland in the distant background which fills in an otherwise featureless ocean. Well done

I was there one year ago. Magheroarty is on the way to Tory Island (on board of Tormór). This is really beautiful place. All I can say is that it was truly amazing trip. Anyway I like a lot your great POV and I'm sure you had a great time. Well done!

Bonjour Olivier,
J'aime bien cette photo car elle me parle.
Ce que je ressens en regardant cette photo, c'est que cet îlot de civilisation semble complètement déplacé au milieu d'une nature qui paraît encore vierge. Ce n'est qu'une impression, il y a peut être une ville juste derrière nous ??

Another interesting place in Donegal.
I plan to go there in two weeks and I pray for a good weather.
This seems like a charming place to be.
You have nice natural colors again.
The pier makes an interesting shape.

c'est ça qu'est bluffant en Irlande...un rayon de soleil et on a l'impression d'être aux caraïbes...sinon, quand il pleut (90hrs non stop en début septembre 2008)Il reste toujours la solution de faire une Guinessothérapie
