A busy little view from Connor pass, there is too much happening here, so I'm adding a close up of the lakes that show more detail. The weather is typically crappy, but never boring. It looks like similar atmospheric condition to Leonie's version (I don't know how to do direct link). These are taken about 100m. higher than the pass itself, by walking up what must be the dryest trail in Ireland, I sank in mud only halfway up my ankles. Info from the internet:

Conor Pass - The Connor Pass road is undoubtedly the most dramatic route to take, though it is not suitable for heavy vehicles or caravans. As it swings towards the south it rises at the side of a large valley formed by glaciers that came from a semi-circle of coums or corries in the surrounding mountains.

From the top of the pass there are breathtaking views in fine weather of lowlands, mountains and sea. High vantage points provide the best position from which to take in the sweep of the landscape, and most of the main roads on the peninsula cross mountains at passes.

I think that Connor pass present maybe some of the most breathtaking POVs in Southern Eire. I'm not even sure that there are more scenic places in Connemara or in Donegal wild areas. Your shot is impressive and you've managed to capture a great sample of Kerry's colors, contrasts and dramatic sky. Thanks for sharing !

Hi Tan, you're on Leonie's territory here, and very Leonie like shot you've managed today, with all the tradmark details. hope you don't mind the comparison, nice work.

Hi Tan,
Beautiful colors and a great point of view on this pass. I really like the light and shadows effects of the clouds ! Nice composition with the foreground that gives more idea to the altitude.

Well done, Cheers,
Youssef.

Hi Tan,
you're doing a hard concurence to Leonie !
You're both talented for Irish landscape.
Nice colors, I like the clouds shadows on the ground.
I'll imported clouds to Burma next year if I return there.

Hi Tan,
you did an impressive landscape view with this great valleys and lowlands in an almost perfect weather conditions. You took advantage of the light very well and made an image very clear and well defined. Avoiding the field at te foreground, it really seems that you are flying! A part of the shadows over the fields, the contrasts earth-water lake, I also like to see the sea at the background!
Best regards.

Tan,

looks like you had a nice day, I like the shadows of the clouds on the lowlands, I think that it might be giving it a sence of scale or something, not sure but they look well.

This is the kind of photo that when I see, I would like be there.
Thanks for share.

Hi Tan, Great view you've posted here. The depth is really impressive. It's amazing how the waters are dark on these 'aerian' views. I'm also impressed by the amount of yellow you captured in that green country.

Bonjour Tan,
Un petit retour sur une de tes anciennes photos.
Où les couleurs varient au rythme des lumières, crées pas le soleil et les ombres des nuages.
Un POV bien choisi qui propose une vaste étendue si nette du début à la fin.
Excellent travail, endroit magique.
Have a good week-end.
Daniel.

Hello Tan,

You were lucky to get such a clear view.
This large landscape is rather impressive.
