Hi Asa
Welcome to TrekEarth!
I don't know about the technical or compositional merits of this shot, but the perspective is great and the subject is fantastic. Great sharpness considering the exposure length.
Thanks for sharing

prise de vue originale qui permet de voir ces tours sous un autre angle et aussi la différente végétation du parc.

Good shot Asa.
I love the name of this castle, Blarney is such an Irish name. Nice shot, great POV, almost looks like a helicopter shot. Well done.
Please see what you think of my Ireland shots.
Have a good day.

Hello Asa. The same view from above had in former times the master of the castle. One can have a feeling for, as powerful he must have felt. And now only the ruins stand. The view from above is really beautiful. The landscape with trees, the small river and the tiny people are worth seeing. Very beautifully. Greeting, Wolfgang.

Hi Asa,
Beautiful vibrant green and stunning old ruins see from up high. I have a post from the same location but I must admit your is better.

Hi Asa,
This is an interesting POV and the colors are great. I especially enjoy this shot for the view of the little river. When we visited this spot last year it was more of a swamp and, as I worked to frame a shot of the castle from very near the fork in the upper third, my daughter chose to fall into the muck. Good thing we always travel with a change of clothes :) Thanks for bringing back a nice memory for me.

Ah, this is exactly how it feels up there, your braver than I was to take this shot! Definitely captures the feeling of vertigo I had when I was here. Great pov and the two towers lead us through the picture to the river perfectly.
Thanks for sharing,
Patrick

Nice framing and excellent sharpness. The positionning of the two belvederes and of the river in the center of the picture is a good idea, since the sides are well occupied by th different trees. The greens look perhaps a little pale since it does not seem to be a very sunny day.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Great POV Asa. Nice colors with all the different shades of green. Good compostion with the path and the stream running through the photo. Good focal point in the front tower and smaller one behind it, the combination really leads the eye into the photo.
Good first post.

Hello Asa
Now I know why Irish people celebrate thier patriotic day
adorned of green ornaments!
Seen from that spectacular height, the "vegetal towers" are very attractive amid the splendid array of trees and the parallel diagonal lines of river and footpath.
The view of people down there creates an impression of vertigo!
See you soon, I hope!

Hi Asa, you are very well traveled my friend. Looking at your Ireland images I notioned this one. I was here in May and although I climbed the steps to reach this point I was out of time to enjoy the views. I never kissed the stone btw but I remember this view over the side of the castle and took a similar shot. Well done.

Yes, colors are nice, really what you imagine thinking of Ireland. Don't think this would be as interesting without the sun lighting the top of the nearby tower, though. One situation where the 18-55 performs well: no obtrusive distortions and good sharpness rendering the tower.
Regards,
Patrick
