Photographer's Note

Strange gargoyle this one! I don't know the story it depicts, but I'm open to suggestions :-) I liked the strong figure of the horse, aided by the diagonals of ornaments, and the poor position of the man under it.
It's on the façade of Saint Finbarre's Cathedral (Ardeaglais Naomh Fionnbarra), in Cork. This anglican cathedral was built in the XIX century by architect William Burges in gothic revival style. Admission is 3€ but it's worth a visit. Unfortunately, some of the sculptures on the façade are in a really bad state, though it doesn't seem to affect this gargoyle.

Thanks for watching! Any comments are welcome.
