[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Taken at the very moment the Sun popped up from behind the horizon and briefly illuminated the seascape before disappearing into the clouds. The moment was so short the Sun did not even fully lightened the sky, which is something I hoped for. And the moment was so short the next exposure I took looks different and somehow less effective.

I had to wake up at 4 in the morning, drive the car for about an hour, search the coastline for another hour...just to capture the best light of the morning which lasted only 8 seconds...

...it seems to me that sunrise shots are somehow cleaner, innocent compared to sunsets, the quality of light much sharper. Or is it just our mind, hungry for new views after few hours sleep in darkness? Don't know...but personally prefer sunrise...

Hi Juraj,
This looks like the same location as your other post but in a more conventional format! So it was dawn and not sunset...
Anyway, beautiful shot. The foreground rocks draw you into the picture and the converging lines create a very dynamic composition. I like the way the dawn light glints slightly on the wet rocks.
You obviously made a great deal of effort to get this picture and your dedication has really paid off. You were definitely in the right place at the right time, well done!
John

Beautiful shot, and your dedication has really paid off.Well done...

hello Juraj,
a nice moody picture, the colors and light are nice, the wide lense and the long exposure make a good job here.
regards
didier

Ahojky, tohle neni poprve co vidim nejakou hezkou fotku od tebe. Vitej na TE a tesim se na vic zajimavych fotek od tebe. The 4AM wake up was really worth it here !! Lovely work. Lucie

A wonderfull sunrise ! I prefer sunrise to sunset. colors are better even if it's really difficult to wake up very early the morning (I took several picture of sunrise in howth this summer and I had to wake at 4 like you !).
anyway thanks for sharing
have a nice day
sylvain.

Juraj,
I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes to get up to see the awesome sunrises like this one. With such a small amount of light from the rising sun, you did good to show such a light and detailed beach. I like how these rocks rise at an angle, which tells a geological story...
Dave
