Photographer’s Note

****

I looked at the old boat, the eyes in the eyes.
I saw the wrinkles on the face and the devastations of time.
I imagined the salt of the sweat which burned the skin,
the sun which had left blisters,
and the blows of paring-iron which dug open scars.
The old tired boat did not have anything any more to say to me.
It had also lost the memory.
