| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Ireland is well known for it's sports, and the Irish provinces are well known for rugby. This is a photo of Leinster in action against Queesnland Reds (from Australia) in a friendly game. Leinster won it easy in the end, 48-19.
On this particular day, Leinster wore green, for an environmentally friendly game too. Team sheets were bluetoothed to your phone, rather than the usual paper sheets. Normally Leinster wear blue.
Rugby season really starts this weekend. Leinster are the Magners League cup holders, while Munster (another Irish province) are the Heineken Cup holders. Both teams are very highly regarded in Europe and worldwide in the rugby community.
I posted this photo for the colour, the players rushing towards the camera, and also the nice Guinness advertisement in the background. :-) |
