Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta - Atri (TE)
The church of Santa Maria Assunta is one of the most beautiful examples of medieval architecture in Abruzzo. His is a very complex and articulated story that passes through different architectural phases and reconstructions. The interior is divided into three aisles by pillars of different shapes, those of the first half are rectangular with attached half-columns, those of the second half are covered with an octagonal reinforcement. On them rest the pointed arches that define the spans.
