Photographer's Note

Venzone (Friulian: Vençon, Slovene: Pušja vas) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 90 km northwest of Trieste and about 30 km north of Udine.
Venzone is mentioned for the first time in 923 AD as Clausas de Albiciones, and 1001 in a diplom by Otto III.
Venzone was almost entirely destroyed by the earthquake that struck Friuli in 1976, being rebuilt in the following year. The reconstruction has finished in the '90, with the Duomo.
This the main square.
