Photographer’s Note

I posted this after trying to clean it up considerably. I know it's still not terribly sharp, but hopefully it's passible, and it's a really cool shot of this amazing tapestry. My mom was literally directing traffic, trying to stop people walking in the packed hallway so I could get photos of the series of these. I posted another one a while ago. Yes, these are tapestries, not paintings or frescoes. They are amazing and enormous. The scenes depict various episodes from the life of Christ, such as the Last Supper, seen here, and Jesus's Entry into Jerusalem. They are scenes of the Episodes from the Passion, created in Tournai, Belgium. They date from the fifteenth century and are now on dispay in the Galleria di San Pio V; St. Pius V Gallery, actually in the apartment of Pius V. These are exquisite but difficult to photograph!
