In Sicily Easter is the time not only for the usual eggs but also for a triumphal return of traditional cooking and recipes.Throught the island families serve ancient dishes with bizarre-sounding names such as “cuddura”. Cuddura” is a word deriving from the Greek¸ it means ring-shaped, that is a round loaf with a hole in the middle, decorated with boiled eggs (not shelled). My mother prepared this very good cuddura and I enjoyed it with all my parents. Happy Easter to everybody.
