Photographer's Note

The Nera River, rises near Castel Sant'Angelo sul Nera, in the area of the Sibillini Mountains, in the Marche region.
Crosses the south-eastern mountains of Umbria, the Nera River then cross Visso into Umbria and touches Cerreto di Spoleto, Vallo di Nera, Sant'Anatolia di Narco, through Scheggino Ferentillo, receives the waters of the Velino through the Waterfall Marmore then reach Terni and then from there flows into the Tiber near Orte.
Among the major centers have Ferentillo, Visso and Scheggino, while the valley is within easy reach Norcia, Cascia, Spoleto.
Normally, however, the term "Valnerina" means, even by an administrative point of view, the set of common gravitating around the upper valley of the Nera which Norcia, cascia, Poggiodomo and Monteleone di Spoleto.

Natural beauty and treasures of art coexist in a unique and unrepeatable throughout the lapped by Nera River.
