Photographer's Note

Our last walk in Sardinia was from the Golgo Plateau near Baunei to Cala Goloritze. This is the 18th century church of San Pietro, which seems to be in the middle of nowhere on the Golgo Plateau. Shepherds and pilgrims still make offerings there. There is also a Festival here from 28th to 29th June.
Near the front of the church gates is a pre-Christian burial post, which you can see in the WS. In the other WS you can see the accommodation for the shepherds and other pilgrims staying at the church.
