Photographer's Note

For me, the most impressing feature of the fortress is how the renovators applied modern materials and forms in harmony with the original parts. Sometimes, when architects do this, the result amounts to vandalism in my view, but somehow it seemed organic in Fortezza. This bridge allows visitors to see the walls from the waterside after walking out through the door carved from a cannon window. In the WS you can see other examples.
